Intensive learning

Our holiday programmes include daily intensive lessons with specialist tutors, enabling students to build rapidly on the previous days learning. Lessons and teaching focus on each child's learning needs, in alignment with their school curriculum. This is a great chance to get out of holiday mode, refresh the key ideas from last year, and introduce the new ones before school kicks off. 

It’s our aim to provide tailored maths tuition that gives children the skills they need to work and reason with numbers. Our English tuition is personalised to support students who are interested in pushing ahead. Each child is assessed to identify development opportunities, and given a programme that caters to their needs, guided by specialist tutors, who are experts in their subject, and trained by our team. Our tutoring follows the school curriculum so that what they are learning will be directly aligned with the school work, and is delivered by tutors who are positive role models, and relate well to students.

Like our after school classes, holiday programmes with NumberWorks'nWords focus on developing confidence in maths and English in young learners. Our individualised programmes support the learning goals of each student, and deliver results. 

Students who attend holiday programmes with NumberWorks'nWords start the new school year or term brimming with confidence, that they carry with them outside of the classroom. The holidays provide an ideal opportunity for parents to encourage their children to view learning as a lifelong activity, not just something you do at school. Our holiday programmes provide students with extra support that sets them up to tackle the new term or school year with confidence, which is essential for sustained learning and development. Whether your child is entering a new school or year level, or on holidays between school terms, our holiday programmes can help them stay on track with their learning. During times of disruption at school, keeping up with learning is more important than ever. If your child has fallen behind and needs extra support, or help starting a new school year or term with confidence, enrol in a holiday programme. 

Holiday programmes are open to existing and new students. We welcome new students to attend a comprehensive free assessment, to identify gaps and weaknesses, to focus on during the sessions. New students can attend a single holiday programme, or continue learning with NumberWorks'nWords after school.
